Hard-wired Ethernet, run cleanly to the rooms that need it
Wi-Fi is great for phones. For the TV, the home office, the game room and your Wi-Fi access points, a cable is faster and steadier. We run the drops, tidy the rack and make sure it all works before we leave.
Our focus
What we wire
- Hard-wired Ethernet drops to offices, TVs, consoles and access points
- Clean, tested and labeled runs
- Network rack organization and cleanup
- Router, switch and access point setup and troubleshooting
- Mesh Wi-Fi with wired backhaul, so each access point gets a full-speed connection
How it works
- 1
Free virtual estimate
Book online or call for a free virtual estimate. Tell us which rooms need a connection; every building is different, so we price wired runs after a quick look.
- 2
On-site look if needed
If we need to see the space, an on-site estimate is $135 for homes or $149 for businesses, credited toward the job.
- 3
Install and test
We run the cable, terminate it, test and label each drop, and connect your devices so you can see the difference.
Ethernet questions
Why run a cable when I already have Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi shares the air with every other device and slows down through walls and floors. A wired connection gives the device its own steady line, which helps most with streaming TVs, video calls, gaming and the access points that feed your Wi-Fi. Read more in Ethernet vs mesh Wi-Fi.
How much does an Ethernet drop cost?
Wired runs are a free virtual estimate, because the price depends on the building and the path the cable takes. Repairs to an existing network can be booked online.
What happens during the quote?
You tell us which rooms need a connection and where your router or network gear lives. If we can price it from that, you get a free virtual estimate. If we need to see the space, a quote is done with an on-site visit ($135 for homes, $149 for businesses), and that visit is credited toward the job if you approve the quote.
Can you clean up my existing network closet or rack?
Yes. Network rack organization and cleanup is part of what we do. See the before and after above.
Will this help my mesh Wi-Fi?
Usually, yes. Connecting mesh access points with Ethernet (wired backhaul) means each one gets a full-speed link instead of relaying over Wi-Fi.
Do you wire businesses too?
Yes. We work with homes and businesses across Middle Tennessee.
